When Should I list my Chester County Home?

A lot of people ask me when is a good time to list their homes in Chester County. Obviously, people list their homes all year long for various reasons but if I had to pick a time over any other, I’d say beginning to middle of January.

Most folks thing the spring market starts around April. In actuality, it’s probably winding down about then. People start looking as soon as football season eases up and definitely are out in full force after Super Bowl Sunday.

To beat the rush of sellers who are planning on listing in the spring market, my suggestion would be to list it now. People are out and about and they think they are not ready but more often than not, they fall in love with something and if you wait, your home will not be among the homes they look at.

If you are interesting in learning the value of your home, I can prepare a personalized market analysis for you. We can go over my marketing plan and see if we are a good fit to work together.

In the meantime, all the best to you in 2015.
