With no Winter, Spring would not be so Pleasant

Looking forward to spring in East Goshen

I got a great quote via email today.

“If we had no winter, spring would not be so pleasant; If we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”

— Anne Bradstreet,
17th Century poet

Looking forward to spring in East Goshen

I totally agree with this sentiment.  I know that if I lived in warm place like San Diego, I would not notice nearly so often how beautiful the weather is.  I wouldn’t step outside, throw my arms wide as I do on a good day, take a deep breath and say thanks with my face pointing toward heaven.   This has been the most mild winter I can remember and I am totally okay with that.  I am still very much looking forward to Spring!  I can’t wait to catch glimpse of my daffodils when they start blooming in my East Goshen garden.

Think Spring!!
